Making Good Food – Probiotic Pesto Please!

This delicious plant-based pesto is dairy free, and can be included in all sorts of dishes, served over zoodles or noodles of choice. I also like to put pesto into quinoa and serve it with diced tomato and sunflower seeds on top.
Probiotic Pesto Please!


  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1 cup basil leaves
  • ½ cup Carry Me Away kraut
  • ½ cup cashews
  • ½ cup nutritional yeast
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp minced garlic


  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor, scraping down sides when needed, until fully blended! And….PESTO!
